Functional Indications
This product belongs to bactericidal antibiotics with strong antibacterial activity. The main sensitive bacteria include Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Streptococcus suis, Corynebacterium, Clostridium tetani, Actinomyces, Bacillus anthracis, spirochetes, etc. After injection, this product is rapidly absorbed and reaches peak blood concentration within 15-30 minutes. The blood concentration is maintained above 0.5 μ g/ml for 6-7 hours and can be widely distributed to various tissues throughout the body. It is mainly used for infections caused by Gram positive bacteria, as well as infections caused by actinomycetes and leptospira.
Usage And Dosage
Calculated as penicillin potassium. Intramuscular or intravenous injection: one dose, 10000 to 20000 units per 1kg body weight for horses and cows; 20000 to 30000 units of sheep, pigs, foals, and calves; 50000 units of poultry; 30000 to 40000 units for dogs and cats. Use 2-3 times a day for 2-3 consecutive days. (Suitable for pregnant animals)
